So MSNBC runs this stupid fake live shot from “North Pole, Alaska” and a package about elves and technology. This, of course, while Congress debates how best to give our tax dollars to the insurance industry, et cetera. Worse yet, the whole thing was a rerun from earlier on the Today show:

Since like five people have asked me about this, and that’s a considerable amount given the size of the circles I run in these days… this commercial…
Her name is Annie Little. By that I mean, “her.” As in, the song is by her, and the singer is her, and the actress is her.
Also, she was one of the hot stewardesses in the Season Three premiere of Mad Men… if you needed a reason to like her (assuming you don’t like the Kindle commercial, or just hate the Kindle and the concept of e-Books).
