22 September, 2008 -- FOXBORO, MA: Patriots coach Bill Belichick on Monday bemoaned his team's response to the Dolphins' single-wing offense that allowed running back Ronnie Brown to run for four touchdowns and throw for another. Belichick suggested the Patriots should have been prepared.
The Single Wing has been making the rounds at the College ranks with Arkansas, Florida and now Mississippi, Urban Meyer is an unabashed self proclaimed Single Wing coach. Why not the NFL? Finally something different than the same old bland passing and zone running games we see from every team out there.
I'm Dolphins fan. The Dolphins are rarely on tv in Gainesville. When they are they lose. I can not remember seeing a game they won. I have nightmares of Jim Kelly scrabling for touchdowns at the end of games.
It hurts that I missed it... it really, really does.
